#SheFest7 at Wild Card Brewery in Walthamstow on Saturday 21 September was a great success and raised funds for Girls Rock London. Thanks to Kimmi and Angie at She 17 for asking us to headline a buzzing day and for making us so welcome. Also thanks to Ich Bin Finn for doing the sound. Such a great vibe and real sense of community and solidarity. We were honoured to play in front of bassist Debbie Googe from My Bloody Valentine who said she thought that people would accept us for who we are, which has to be one of the best things anyone has ever said to us.

This is what Girls Rock London is all about and we fully support this.
"Girls Rock London (GRL!) is a music project for girls and women in London. We are part of a movement of rock camps that take place all over the world, united by a desire to achieve gender equality in the music industry and to ensure that all girls and women get the chance to make music. The aims of the project are to empower girls and women – regardless of previous musical experience – to write and perform music, and to build self-confidence."
